BrickLink is a marketplace, not a single store. Every order is placed with an individual seller, and each seller sets their own terms.

Before you buy used LEGO® items

  1. Check the seller's feedback. BrickLink recommends reviewing member feedback before ordering.
  2. Read the store terms. Terms vary between sellers – returns, minimum buy, and how condition is described.
  3. Understand shipping costs. Shipping and handling are set by the store and can change the total a lot.
  4. Start with a small order with a seller you have not used before.

If something goes wrong

BrickLink states that it cannot issue refunds itself. Payment disputes must be handled through the payment provider – so pay with a method that offers buyer protection.

Verdict: BrickLink is safe enough when you treat it like a marketplace: judge the seller, not the site.
